A paper home is a gift worth giving
A paper home is a hand-drawn replica of a photo of a home onto an 8"x10" artboard. After outlining the most important details of the home, an art technique calling stippling is used to place thousands of dots to add depth and shading to the drawing.A home is more than bricks and mortar. They’re the places we grow, and change, and learn. Homes connect us with the people living in them, and to the community around them. They may be lived in for only a short season, or others for an entire lifetime.Therefore, a paper home isn’t just a drawing. It’s a reminder of the places we call home and the memories they hold.
Four simple steps to gift a paper home:
Step 1
You provide one photo of the home that you want replicated.
*Plus any extra photos from other angles that might be helpful.
Step 2
After reviewing your photo(s) and clarifying any questions, payment is accepted. The home is then hand-drawn using a combination of line art and a technique called stippling.
Step 3
In 4-5 weeks, you'll receive the paper home. When you gift it, you'll see firsthand just how meaningful it is.
Step 4
Repeat steps 1-3 every time you need a gift worth giving.

Terms of Agreement
These Terms of Agreement are between Our Paper Homes (“Seller”) and the individual placing the order (“Buyer”). “Seller” refers to the person operating Our Paper Homes.The Seller will create one original artwork for the Buyer based on the photo supplied and the following specifications:Artwork Description: Replica drawing of a photo of a home
Medium: Pen and ink
Size: 8”x10” artboardBy submitting an order to the Seller, the Buyer agrees to the following:Payment
The Seller uses Jotform to securely collect order information and Stripe to securely process payments. Buyers may see these service names during or after the ordering process. The full price of the artwork is $175 CAD, payable in full before work begins. Payment is pre-authorized when the order is submitted and will only be processed after the Seller has reviewed the submission and clarified any questions with the Buyer.Artwork Size & Placement
The drawing will be centred on an 8”×10” artboard. The drawing itself will generally be approximately 4”×4”, although its size may vary depending on the size, shape, and details of the home.Timeline
The expected turnaround time for completion is 4–5 weeks from the time payment is received. While the Seller will make every reasonable effort to meet this timeline, circumstances may occasionally require additional time. If the timeline needs to change, the Seller will contact the Buyer in advance to provide an updated estimate.Hand-Drawn Nature
The artwork is created by hand, and natural variations or imperfections may occur. These characteristics are an inherent part of the handmade nature of the artwork and are not considered defects.Creative Interpretation
Each home is individually hand-drawn. While the Seller will make every reasonable effort to accurately represent the home based on the information and reference photos provided, the Seller retains creative discretion over details, proportions, perspective, landscaping, and other elements of the artwork.Refunds & Revisions
Because each artwork is custom-made, no refunds or revisions will be provided based on dissatisfaction with the completed artwork. The Seller may, at their sole discretion, choose to make an exception.Artwork Ownership & Use
Upon completion and payment, the physical original artwork becomes the property of the Buyer. However, copyright and all reproduction rights remain with the Seller.
The Seller may reproduce and use the artwork for their own purposes, including creating and selling prints or other products and displaying the artwork on their website, social media, or other promotional materials.
If the Buyer would like to use the artwork for purposes beyond displaying the original piece, such as reproduce, distribute, or sell copies of the artwork, this can be discussed separately with the Seller.Shipping
Artwork will be shipped via Canada Post and will include a tracking number. The cost of shipping is included in the $175 CAD purchase price, with no additional shipping charges to the Buyer. Once the artwork has been handed over to Canada Post, the Seller is not responsible for shipping delays, loss, or damage that may occur during transit. The Buyer may use the provided tracking number to monitor the shipment and should contact the Seller if there are any concerns.By submitting an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Agreement.
